Robert Markionni

Robert Markionni grew up playing golf in the Chicago area and got his start in the business as a caddie. He received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University in Chicago and earned a master’s degree in non-profit administration from the University of Notre Dame as well as a certificate in fund raising management from Indiana University.

Markionni joined the Chicago District Golf Association in the Handicap Department in 1989 and was named executive director 1996. Markionni is chairman of the USGA Handicap Procedure Committee in addition to serving on the USGA Handicap Committee.
