50 for 50 Campaign
Thanks to generous gifts from the private club industry and its leaders, the NCA Foundation succeeded in raising more than $100,000 in honor of NCA’s 50th anniversary and to support the future of the private club industry. The NCA Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the many donors who have given to support this milestone campaign. Without the widespread support of these industry leaders, our success would not have been possible.
The NCA Foundation greatly appreciates the support of DENEHY – Club Thinking Partners and McGladrey who were lead sponsors in for the “50 for 50” campaign, providing matching funds that helped your donation go twice as far.
The NCA Foundation congratulates the National Club Association for 50 years of serving the private club community.
Over the past five decades, the National Club Association has dedicated itself to defending the rights of private clubs, ensuring their voices are heard and their obstacles are overcome.
To further that tradition, the NCA Foundation challenged the private club community to raise $50,000 to invest in their future and fund research and education on the most important trends, technology issues and membership strategies of our time to ensure private clubs have the information and insight they need during these changing times.
For more than a decade, the NCA Foundation has worked to:
Analyze key trends in the private club industry through:
The annual Trends and Issues report. All NCA members receive a free copy of this comprehensive industry guide, covering trends in changing demographics, food and beverage, the economy, hospitality and lodging, fitness and recreation, technology and lifestyles.
Collaboration with the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) on a Technology Task Force to determine private club needs for technology solutions and planning.
Support the research and educational needs of the industry through resources such as:
The Legal Reference Guide for Private Clubs, a comprehensive resource written by attorneys specializing in private club issues, providing club leaders with a wealth of information on areas of liability and exposures and ways to be proactive in managing the risk.
The 2009 Private Club Operations Report, based on an August 2009 National Club Association survey of club managers and controllers, provides must-have benchmarking data for all aspects of club operations.
Provide valuable resources to make clubs more effective and to help clubs prepare for their future with:
Expanded content on the NCA website, a robust, searchable online archive of resources to access 24/7/365, especially critical in an industry that doesn’t work M-F, 9-5.
Initiated a Webinar Series to bring NCA’s high-quality educational sessions to clubs across the country from the convenience of their office.
As the NCA Foundation looks to protect the future of the private club industry, please consider donating today.
