Larry Joe Perdue, CCM, CHEGlobal Hospitality Initiatives
In the position of executive director of Global Hospitality Initiatives, Perdue establishes collaborative partnerships for the School of Hospitality at Georgia State University with educational institutions throughout the world, as well as serving as a faculty member.
Perdue joined Georgia State from the university of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was on the faculty as an associate professor in the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration for 12 years. He also serves as the academic advisor for the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), a poition he has held for 12 years. In this role, he developed professional education programs in China, SOuth Africa, Europe and Canada. In addition, Perdue has held the positions of director of education and vice president for CMAA. Well known in the hospitality industry, Perdue has made more than 500 presentations to international and U.S. hospitality and club managers in the last 26 years. His third edition of Contemporary Club Management was published in 2011.
