Special Events to Commemorate NCA's 50th Anniversary
(Washington, D.C., April 11, 2011) - The eighth annual National Club Conference will be held in Washington, D.C., April 28 - 29, 2011 at the Park Hyatt Washington, located in historic Georgetown. The conference will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the National Club Association as well provide timely information on pertinent issues facing the private club industry.
NCA's anniversary celebration will commence with a reception and dinner at the Chevy Chase Club. The conference will continue with the educational program, highlighting NCA's signature trends and legislative updates, followed by a technology seminar and an open question-and-answer session with private club experts on legal, financial, governance and communications issues.

Former Congressman Phil English (R-PA) will deliver the keynote address, "Insider's Outlook on Capitol Hill." Additional sessions for this year include Preparing for Your Future: Trends Affecting the Private Club Community, focusing on the major influences affecting club members and services, Government Matters: Key Issues for Clubs on Capitol Hill, highlighting the latest information from Congress, the federal regulatory agencies, the statehouses, and the courthouses that directly impact the financial wellbeing of private clubs, What's on the Private Club Technology Horizon?, detailing technologies that offer clubs outstanding value at a reasonable cost, and a Q&A with a panel of experts poised to address a wide range of topics.
The conference will also feature a commemorative luncheon celebrating the remarkable achievements of the National Club Association and its supporters over the past 50 years. The program will recognize NCA's past leaders for their work, support and dedication to the continued success of the National Club Association and the private club industry.
A networking reception at the Park Hyatt Washington will be hosted following the conference.
