(Washington, D.C., February 4, 2014) — The National Club Association (NCA) is pleased to announce that the McMahon Group has joined NCA’s Corporate Partner Program as a Strategic Alliance Partner. This relationship centers on a mutual commitment to support the interests and growth of private clubs by providing education, best practices and added value benefits to clubs and members.
A key component of the collaboration will be the merging of the two private club trends publications that the organizations now produce into an enhanced quarterly report for club leaders.
Founded in 1983, McMahon Group is a full-service, private club consulting firm dedicated to serving clubs in all aspects of their planning, clubhouse, golf and membership needs. Their extensive and diverse experience includes service to country, golf, city, dining, athletic, yacht, university and military clubs. To date, McMahon Group (founded in 1983 as a successor to McMahon firms dating back to 1906) has assisted more than 1,600 clubs throughout the world.
“Our alliance with McMahon Group will expand NCA’s capacity to achieve our mission of educating clubs and preparing them for a successful future. Together, we will be able to offer club leaders timely information about today’s trends as well as innovative solutions,” said NCA President & CEO Susanne R. Wegrzyn. “This new relationship will serve NCA club members across the country by putting knowledge of the future outlook at their fingertips.”
William (Bill) P. McMahon, Sr., AIA, OAA, chairman of the McMahon Group, said, “McMahon Group looks forward to the collaboration with NCA on providing the private club industry with an outstanding publication which will strengthen our clubs and provide guidance for boards and managers in their efforts to successfully lead their clubs. The joint publication brings together some of the best minds and talents in our industry for the benefit of all clubs.”
In addition to collaborating on the new trends publication, McMahon will support NCA’s private club members through additional avenues, such as targeted editorial contributions in Club Director and NCA CONNECT.
