A certified club manager, Brian Kroh has been the general manager of the exclusive John’s Island Club in Vero Beach, Florida for the past 14 years. He began his 31+ year career in club management as dining room manager for The Wichita Club in 1979. From there, he served as purchasing agent for Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, as clubhouse manager at the Houston Club in Texas, the Los Angeles Country Club in California, and as general manager at Belle Meade Country Club in Nashville, Tennessee. Brian was a recipient of the McMahon Group’s “Excellence in Club Management” award in 2009 and the John’s Island Club has been named a top ten “Platinum Club of America” by the Club Leader’s Forum three times during his tenure.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Administration, Brian is very active in club management organizations. He has served in almost every leadership role of the National Club Association and served as chairman in 2010-11.  Also, Brian has served on numerous committees at the national level of the Club Managers Association of America, in addition to serving in a variety of leadership roles in the Florida and Tennessee chapters, from education committee chairman to president.
