September is National Food Education Safety Month

The National Restaurant Association created National Food Education Safety Month to help the restaurant and foodservice industry reinforce proper food safety practices and procedures. Now is an ideal time for clubs to examine their food safety practices and procedures.

Age discrimination claims are expected to continue to rise as the U.S. workforce ages. Clubs can follow some guidelines to minimize their vulnerability to a complaint of age discrimination.

Preparing for a Swine Flu Outbreak

 The H1N1 Flu (swine flu) is expected to be back with a vengeance this fall. Clubs can take some steps to prepare in case of sick employees and should provide information regarding personal hygiene since staff/member interaction is often prevalent in the club setting.
