Registration is open for the 2012 National Club Conference (NCC), which will be held in New York City on April 29-30. Join the National Club Association this spring for world-class golf, dinner in the heart of the city, and NCC’s premier education sessions. Club managers, officers and directors, management staff and industry vendors can all benefit from the outstanding offerings and signature education that have become trademarks of the National Club Conference.

On Sunday, April 29, NCC attendees will have the opportunity to golf at their choice of two leading courses in the area: Baltusrol Golf Club or Westchester Country Club.

Baltusrol Golf Club, synonymous with championship golf, sits at the base of Baltusrol Mountain in northern New Jersey, only a stone's throw from New York City. With a rich heritage that dates back to 1895, Baltusrol is considered one of the country's premier private golf clubs.

Westchester Country Club is an exclusive family-oriented club located in Harrison, New York approximately 40 minutes outside Manhattan. Westchester has been ranked 12th of 4,000 private clubs in the United States and a “Platinum Club” by the Club Leaders Forum. Westchester offers two championship golf courses and a nine-hole Executive Course.

A limited number of tee times are available for NCC registrants. For more information on the conference golf outings, click here.

In addition to visiting premier local country clubs, NCC attendees will tour two of New York’s finest city clubs for a welcome dinner on Sunday night. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and multi-course dinner at the New York Athletic Club, overlooking Central Park. Founded in 1868, the New York Athletic Club boasts a unique history. Today, the New York City Club House stands in tribute to an unmatched athletic history and an on-going commitment to the pursuit of sporting excellence.

The evening will conclude with a dessert reception at the University Club of New York, host of the 2012 National Club Conference. Through the vitality of its members, the University Club of New York has evolved into one of New York’s premier social clubs, offering unparalleled services to members—from gracious dining, luxurious accommodations and a variety of social events, to extensive athletic facilities and the world’s largest and finest club library. Steeped in tradition, the club reflects a warm and welcoming ambiance.

On Monday, April 30, the National Club Conference education sessions will feature presentations by industry experts as well as interactive panel discussions on new trends and major industry issues. Also on the agenda are essential updates on legislation impacting the club industry and the most vital information on membership marketing, management and governance topics affecting the future of private clubs.
