The Top 10 Mistakes that Clubs Make

Clubs strive to be the best they can in providing the highest quality of services to their members. In this pursuit of perfection, club leadership is generally interested in what other well-run clubs do. In certain cases, it may be just as instructive to know and understand what mistakes other clubs have made.

Hidden Costs of the Employer Mandate

Most clubs are fully aware that if they employ 50 or more full-time/full-time equivalent employees (FTEs), they must offer health care coverage to them starting in 2015 (for larger clubs) and 2016 for smaller clubs, as required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). But fewer clubs understand they must start documenting their health care coverage-related employee data in 2015, regardless of whether they offer health insurance to employees or not.

Tactics for Building Better Member Engagement
