DOL Releases Persuader Rule

The Department of Labor (DOL) has released the final version of its “Persuader Rule.” This rule requires both employers and attorneys (or other advisors) hired during a union organizing campaign to file new disclosure reports with DOL. It will be fully effective on April 25.

However, if the long-term courtship of future members is a goal (and it should be), all clubs should continually evaluate their culture and atmosphere in the same way they evaluate their golf course, clubhouse and physical plant.
