NCA Announces New Directors and Officers

The National Club Association (NCA) recently held its annual meeting in Chicago in conjunction with its National Club Conference where it elected new board members and officers to govern the Association. The mission of NCA, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association, is to defend, protect and advance the interests and well-being of private, social and recreational clubs.

Lou DiLorenzo, Vice President of the Board of Governors at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn., and Malcolm MacColl, President of the Board of Governors at The Westmoor Club in Nantucket, Mass., are the new directors elected to the NCA board for three-year terms.

Lou DiLorenzo is chief operating officer of Bright Health, a new technology enabled health insurance company based in Minneapolis, Minn. Prior to that, he worked for Cargill, Inc., most recently as vice president and chief information officer for the food and bio industrial enterprise. Prior to joining Cargill, Lou held numerous positions at Deloitte in New York City. DiLorenzo holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.

Malcolm MacColl is a retired financial services executive. He was a partner at Brown Investment Advisory, the chairman & CEO of Crosswind Investments LLC, and the Co-CEO of Essex Investment Management, all in the Boston area. He began his career at First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse). MacColl is a member of numerous club, including The Country Club, Brookline, Mass.; Gulph Mills Golf Club, King of Prussia, Pa.; Merion Cricket Club, Haverford, Pa.; Sankaty Head Golf Club, Nantucket, Mass.; Windsor Club, Vero Beach, Fla.; and The Westmoor Club on Nantucket, Mass.

The new officers include Ted M. Benn, Partner at Thompson & Knight LLP in Dallas, NCA Chair, with Kevin P. Vitale, General Manager/COO of Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J., serving as the new Vice Chair. Frank J. Vain, President of McMahon Group, in St. Louis, was elected as the new Secretary and Kevin R. Reilly, Partner at PBMares LLP in Fairfax, Va., was reelected Treasurer. The Immediate Past Chair is Philip R. Kiester, General Manager at The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, Va.
