Don’t worry, I won’t be singing the Willie Nelson song, but I bet that you have the tune stuck in your head. Instead, I want to let you know that between now and Thanksgiving NCA will be getting out on the road each and every week. While we love being in Washington, D.C., in the midst of all the legislative and regulatory issues affecting clubs, we also like to meet with our members and industry allies and update them on the activities we are working on, and building the ever so important relations in a face-to-face setting.

I have the opportunity to speak at the Metropolitan Golf Association’s 2017 Presidents Council Fall Conference, in Harrison, N.Y.; the National Capital Chapter of CMAA's Annual Master's Round Table, in Washington, D.C.; and the HFTP Annual Conference, in Orlando. But it isn’t just me spreading the good news. Brad Steele, NCA’s Vice President of Government Relations will be on the road as well.

Brad will be presenting at the CMAA New York State Chapter, in Rochester, N.Y.; the St. Louis District Chapter; the RSM event in Florida; the Great Lakes Regional Conference in Pittsburgh; two different sessions of the BMI General Manager-Chief Operating Officer at Michigan State University, in East Lansing, Mich.; the Mid-America Chapter of CMAA, in Kansas City; the Metropolitan Club Managers Association, in Westchester, N.Y.; and the California State Club Association meeting in Los Angeles.

And then we look forward to taking NCA to our members and the industry at our 2018 National Club Conference from April 16-18 in Los Angeles. Mark your calendar now so that you don’t miss out on the events taking place at the California Club, the Jonathan Beach Club, the Magic Castle and other landmark L.A. locations.

See you on the road.

Warm Regards,
Henry Wallmeyer
