Over the last 14 years, the National Club Association’s (NCA’s) National Club Conference has gathered the industry’s leading voices for three days of expert-led education, memorable social events, key networking opportunities and a star-studded lineup of featured speakers. Next year on April 16-18, the 15th Annual National Club Conference will be held in Los Angeles for the first time ever, and NCA invites you to join us for this special event.

Since I joined NCA as its President & CEO in 2015, we have worked hard to make each national conference bigger and better than the last. In 2016, the National Club Conference went to Chicago, and explored the beautiful Windy City. The 2017 Conference in New York City broke attendance records as we learned from featured speakers Eric Trump, golf course designer Rees Jones and George Bodenheimer, former president of ESPN, and capped off a night at the famed Friars Club with an unforgettable dinner.

The 2018 conference will exceed the previous year’s, attracting more than 175 general managers/COOs and members of executive board leadership, club industry leaders, and NCA corporate partners, associate members and allied organizations.

Conference education will be held at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Along with club-specific education, attendees will gain insight from executives such as:

  • Peter Ueberroth, Entrepreneur and Humanitarian
    • Architect of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games at Los Angeles
    • Commissioner of Major League Baseball
    • Owner and Co-Chairman of the Pebble Beach Company
  • Bill Walshe, Chief Executive Officer, Viceroy Hotel Group
  • Jose Villa, Founder & President, Sensis

The above are just the beginning. We are in the process of finalizing additional speakers and we will update you on when they are confirmed and provide you with a complete agenda.

Special social and dining events will be held at prestigious L.A. venues. The California Club will host the conference’s opening reception, and the conference’s reception and dinner will take place oceanside at The Jonathan Beach Club. An optional private movie studio tour and screening at RealD Studios will also be available.

New to the 2018 Conference will be the Board Appreciation Dinner. This Invitation-only event will take place on April 15, 2018 at the Academy of Magical Arts in Los Angeles. For more on the “most sought-after dinner destination in Los Angeles” and “one of Los Angeles’ most prized (and private) landmarks” click here for a great video, and here for an article.

This will be an invitation-only event for 90, and the invitees will include:

  • NCA Board of Directors
  • NCA Foundation Board of Directors
  • Corporate Partners of NCA
  • National Club Conference Sponsors
  • Individuals who have given to ClubPAC, NCA’s Political Action Committee.

Don’t miss out on this once-in-a lifetime opportunity to be amazed and make sure you receive an invitation.

We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles and joining us for the 2018 National Club Conference. Remember to save the date (and watch our video) and register online.
