National Club Association to Hold 2018 National Club Conference in Los Angeles from April 16-18

Washington, DC (March 14, 2018) — Private club industry leaders from across the United States will gather in Los Angeles from April 16-18 for the National Club Association’s (NCA’s) 15th annual National Club Conference. This renowned event brings together private club industry professionals to learn about the most important issues impacting clubs today, build meaningful connections and celebrate some of the most impressive clubs in the country.

The 2018 National Club Conference will feature presentations by a wide array of private club, sports, business, hospitality and media experts, including:

  • Peter Ueberroth—Entrepreneur and humanitarian; architect of the 1994 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles; former Commissioner of Major League Baseball; and owner and co-chairman of the Pebble Beach Company
  • Bill Walshe—Chief Executive Officer, Viceroy Hotel Group
  • Chip Brewer—President & CEO, Callaway Golf Company
  • Jose Villa—Founder & President, Sensis
  • Mike Stachura—Senior Equipment Editor, Golf Digest
  • Elise Buik—President & CEO, United Way of Greater Los Angeles
  • Frank Wolfe—CEO, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals

The 2018 National Club Conference will be held at LA’s Millennium Biltmore Hotel, and programming will focus on private club governance issues; trends impacting private clubs; and legislative, regulatory and legal challenges and opportunities facing the club industry. There will also be social events at several iconic clubs, including The California Club and The Jonathan Beach Club, as well as a pre-conference dinner at The Academy of Magical Arts’ Magic Castle.
